Loadout ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Loadout marketplace at getloadout.com — a curated marketplace for Method CRM add-ons. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information about you when you use our platform, and what choices you have regarding that information.

By creating an account or using Loadout, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide, such as your full name. Developer accounts additionally collect company name, website URL, and a short bio.

Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. When you purchase an add-on or subscribe to Loadout Pro, your payment details are collected and stored directly by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers or payment credentials on our servers. We receive and store transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing period information from Stripe.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including which add-ons you install, messages you send through the in-app messaging system, and preferences you set. This helps us improve the product and provide relevant notifications.

AI Chat Data

Loadout Pro subscribers can access Loadout AI, our AI-powered assistant. Conversations with Loadout AI are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We store your conversation history so you can reference it later. Conversation content may be used to improve the quality of responses within your session. We do not share individual conversation content with third parties for advertising purposes.

Communications

We send transactional emails (such as installation confirmations and message notifications) via Resend. We may also send product updates or announcements. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
• To process purchases and manage your subscriptions
• To facilitate communication between users and developers
• To send transactional and operational emails relevant to your account
• To provide and improve Loadout AI AI chat functionality for Pro subscribers

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Anthropic (AI processing) only to the extent necessary to provide our services.
• Developers: When you contact a developer or install their add-on, your name may be visible to that developer within the messaging and installation system.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Loadout, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: If Loadout is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as records of completed transactions).

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
