From missing receipts to reviewed Method bills and card charges.
A receipt arrives, a card transaction sits in a CSV, and someone has to find the match, enter the vendor and coding, and attach the document in Method. Vendor bills add jobs, classes, accounts, and sometimes purchase orders. Norvel Payables puts this repetitive first pass and the review work in one place for teams using Method CRM and QuickBooks Desktop. Upload receipts and bills or connect selected Dropbox folders. The app drafts key document details so a reviewer can check them against the original. After card transactions are imported, it suggests matches using details such as merchant, date, and amount. Confirming a match links the receipt to the transaction and carries forward confirmed vendor, job, class, and notes where applicable, instead of making the reviewer enter them again. Teams can choose from Method-synced reference data, including authorized vendors, jobs, classes, items, accounts, and cards. Standard PO-backed bills can use a selected Method PO and lines. A person chooses the appropriate transaction type, completes the coding, reviews the posting preview, and explicitly authorizes the Method post. Eligible vendor bills or credit-card charges carry their supporting documents into Method. Your existing Method approval process and downstream QuickBooks Desktop sync remain in place; Norvel Payables does not approve accounting records or post directly to QuickBooks. The goal is less searching and re-entry, with a clearer trail for unmatched receipts, not an unmeasured promise of time savings.
